How to cancel, what happens to your recordings afterwards, and when we return money.
Last updated July 2026
You can try 7Frames properly before you pay. There is a Free plan with no time limit, and a 14-day trial of the Team plan that needs no card and never charges you. Because you can evaluate the product without paying, paid subscriptions are not refundable except where the law requires it.
You can cancel at any time, by yourself, with no notice period and without having to email anyone. This page explains how cancellation works, what happens to your recordings afterwards, and the cases where we do return money.
The 14-day Team trial does not ask for a card, does not create a subscription, and never converts into a paid plan on its own. When it ends, your account simply returns to the Free plan. There is nothing to cancel and nothing to refund.
Open Manage billing from your plan settings. That opens the secure billing portal hosted by our payment provider, Stripe, where you can cancel yourself at any time. We do not require notice and we do not make you contact us first.
Your paid plan stays active until the end of the billing period you have already paid for. It then does not renew, and your account returns to the Free plan. Cancelling does not refund the remaining time, because you keep the plan you paid for until that period ends.
Cancelling deletes nothing. Your recordings, screenshots and share links stay in your library, and your account keeps working on the Free plan.
If you are over the Free plan’s storage allowance when you cancel, your existing recordings stay where they are and remain accessible. The allowance only limits new uploads until you free up space or upgrade again.
Payments are not refundable except where required by law, as stated in our Terms of Service. There are two cases we always put right, and some we do not:
Nothing in this policy limits rights you have under mandatory local law. In particular, consumers in the EU and the UK have a statutory right to withdraw from a distance purchase of digital services within 14 days. Where that right applies to you, it applies regardless of anything written above. Businesses buying a Team or Business plan are generally outside that right.
Deleting your 7Frames account does not automatically cancel your subscription with our payment provider. If you want the billing to stop, cancel your subscription first, then delete your account. If you deleted your account first and are still being charged, contact us and we will cancel it and return the charge.
When you upgrade in place, we show you the prorated amount for the rest of your current period and charge it immediately.
Downgrades and switches between monthly and annual billing are handled in the billing portal and take effect according to its terms. Reducing or removing a storage add-on produces a credit against your future invoices rather than a cash refund.
If a payment fails, your plan stays active for a short grace period while it is retried, and we email you about it. If the payment still cannot be collected, your account returns to the Free plan. Your content is not deleted.
Cancellation and refund requests go through the 7Frames Support Center, which has dedicated Billing, Refund request and Cancellation topics. Please include the email address on the account and the date of the charge so we can find it quickly.
We may update this policy from time to time. When we make a material change, we will update the date shown above.
