Terms of Service

Your account

You must provide accurate information when you create an account and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. You must be old enough to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction.

Acceptable use

You agree to use 7Frames lawfully and not to misuse it.

Recording others - your responsibility

7Frames lets you record screens, audio, and video. You are solely responsible for complying with all applicable laws and for obtaining any consent required from people who appear in or are recorded by your captures. Recording-consent rules vary by jurisdiction; make sure you have the right to record before you do.

Your content

You retain ownership of the content you create and upload. You grant 7Frames the limited rights needed to host, process, and display your content to provide the service (for example, storing recordings, generating transcripts and AI summaries you request, and serving shared links). You are responsible for the content you upload and share.

Plans, billing, and trials

Paid plans are billed through our payment processor on a recurring basis until canceled. The free trial does not require a card and never converts into a paid plan by itself; when it ends, your account simply returns to the Free plan. You can manage or cancel your subscription from your account at any time, with no notice period. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable. Our Cancellation & Refund Policy explains how cancellation works, what happens to your content afterwards, and the cases where we do return a charge.

Service availability and changes

We work to keep 7Frames available and reliable, but the service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We may add, change, or discontinue features over time, and we may perform maintenance that temporarily affects availability.

Third-party services

7Frames integrates with third-party services (for example storage, payments, AI, and optional export targets you connect). Your use of those services is subject to their own terms. Our sub-processors are listed on our Trust Center.

Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by law, 7Frames disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI-generated output will be accurate.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, 7Frames and its suppliers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or data. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us for the service in the twelve months before the claim.

Termination

You may stop using 7Frames and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these terms or to protect the service or other users. On termination, the rights granted to you end and we may delete your content in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms.
